Check the provider card in Settings → Calendar Integrations for a status that needs attention, reconnect if asked, and remember the sync direction.
Who can do this
- Owners and Admins — can do this for any record or setting in the account.
- Agents and Assistants — can do this only for records they are assigned to.
Roles are predefined by NextAccord. See all roles & permissions
Steps
- Step 1: Open Settings → Calendar Integrations and look at the Google or Microsoft card. If it shows it needs attention, choose Reconnect and approve access again.
- Step 2: Create a fresh test appointment in NextAccord and wait about a minute.
- Step 3: If it still does not appear, the deployment’s calendar sync worker may be disabled — an owner or site admin can check Google Calendar operations health.
- Step 4: Remember the direction: changes made in Google or Outlook do not flow back into NextAccord. Edit the appointment in NextAccord instead.
Common problems
- Calendly bookings are not becoming NextAccord appointments.
- Saving your Calendly link does not import bookings. Automatic import needs the signed Calendly webhook, which an administrator configures separately.
- The Connect button is greyed out.
- That provider is not enabled for this deployment. The card says it is not currently available; an administrator has to configure it.
Good to know
- Site-admin operations health exists today for Google Calendar; equivalent Microsoft monitoring is planned.
