Team management is on an agency or team account with team management on the plan. Owners and admins send invitations, set roles, and enable or disable members; only owners can invite or change another owner.
Who can do this
- Owners and Admins — can do this for any record or setting in the account.
- Agents and Assistants — cannot do this.
Roles are predefined by NextAccord. See all roles & permissions
Before you start
- The account is an agency/team account and team management is included in the plan.
- Your role can manage invitations (Owner or Admin).
Steps
- Step 1: Open Settings → Team / Members.
- Step 2: Choose Invite a team member. Enter the email address and pick the role (Admin, Agent, or Assistant; owners can also invite an Owner).
- Step 3: Send the invitation. Share the invite link if needed — it is tied to the invited email address.
- Step 4: The person signs in or signs up with that email, completes profile setup, and becomes an active member.
- Step 5: Later, change a member’s role or enable/disable them from the member list. You cannot change your own role or deactivate your own membership.
What success looks like
- The invitation shows as pending until accepted, then the person appears as an active member with the role you chose.
Common problems
- The invited person cannot accept.
- They must be signed in with the exact email the invitation was sent to. Revoke and re-send to the correct address if needed.
- I cannot manage an owner.
- Only owners can invite, promote, demote, or deactivate another owner. The account also protects its last active owner.
- Team / Members is unavailable.
- Team management is only for agency/team accounts with the team management feature. Individual accounts see an unavailable state.
