Understand the pipeline report

The pipeline report answers two questions: what does my open pipeline look like right now (deals and value by stage), and how did deals move in the period I selected (created, won, lost, win rate).

Who can do this

  • Owners and Admins — can do this for any record or setting in the account.
  • Agents and Assistants — can do this only for records they are assigned to.

Roles are predefined by NextAccord. See all roles & permissions

Steps

  1. Step 1: Open Analytics → Pipeline Analytics.
  2. Step 2: Set the reporting period. Current open-pipeline figures are as of now; activity figures (created, won, lost) cover the selected period.
  3. Step 3: Review open deals and pipeline value by stage to see where work is concentrated or stuck.
  4. Step 4: Check deals created versus deals won and the win rate for a sense of throughput.
  5. Step 5: Select a metric to drill through to the specific deals behind it, where supported.
Tip: Stage names come from your account’s custom list values, so the breakdown matches your Transactions.
Tip: Use this alongside the pipeline board on Transactions: the board is for working deals, this report is for reading trends.

Common problems

Pipeline value seems off.
It sums the value field on open deals in scope. Deals with no value, or outside your assigned scope if you are an agent or assistant, are not included.

Good to know

  • Every figure is a live query for the chosen period — there is no cached pipeline snapshot.
