Connect Meta for Social Publishing

To check or change your Meta connection, open Settings and go to the Social Publishing section. The status beside the heading reads Connected, Reconnect required, Needs attention, or Not connected. Use Connect Meta (or Reconnect Meta) to authorize, Refresh destinations to update the Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional accounts you can publish to, and Disconnect to stop publishing. Publishing itself happens from Marketing Materials, not from Settings.

Who can do this

Connect, reconnect, refresh, or disconnect the account's Meta social publishing connection

  • Owners and Admins — can do this for any record or setting in the account.
  • Agents and Assistants — cannot do this.

Publish a ready Marketing Material image to a connected Facebook Page or Instagram Professional account

Before you start

  • Only owners and admins can connect, reconnect, refresh, or disconnect Meta.
  • You need a Facebook Page you are authorized to post to, and — for Instagram — an Instagram Professional account linked to that Page.
  • The graphic you want to publish must already be generated in Marketing Materials. Property Flyer PDFs cannot be published to social.

Example

Illustrative example

Settings › Social Publishing shows Connected.

Facebook Pages lists the Page you authorized; Instagram Professional lists the account linked to it.

In Marketing Materials you open a generated Just Listed graphic, choose Publish, pick that Page as the Destination, add a caption, and publish.

Steps

  1. Step 1: Open Settings and scroll to the Social Publishing section.
  2. Step 2: Choose Connect Meta. You are sent to Meta to sign in and authorize the Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional accounts you want to use.If a connection already exists, the same button reads Reconnect Meta.
  3. Step 3: Back in NextAccord, confirm the status reads Connected and review the Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional lists.
  4. Step 4: Choose Refresh destinations after you add, remove, or re-authorize a Page or Instagram account in Meta. The panel confirms "Connected destinations refreshed."
  5. Step 5: To publish, open Marketing Materials, open a generated social graphic, choose Publish, pick a Destination, add a caption, and publish. The publish shows Publishing, then Published or Failed.

What success looks like

  • Settings › Social Publishing shows Connected.
  • The Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional lists show the destinations you authorized, rather than "No authorized Facebook Pages found." or "No linked Instagram Professional accounts found."
  • The publish dialog in Marketing Materials offers those destinations and a publish reaches Published.

Common problems

You are not sure whether Meta is connected.
Open Settings › Social Publishing. The status beside the heading is the authoritative answer: Connected, Reconnect required, Needs attention, or Not connected.
The status reads Reconnect required or Needs attention.
Your Meta authorization expired or was changed in Meta. Choose Reconnect Meta and authorize the same Pages and Instagram Professional accounts again.
A Facebook Page or Instagram Professional account is missing from the lists.
Choose Refresh destinations. If it is still missing, confirm in Meta that you are authorized to post to that Page and that the Instagram Professional account is linked to it, then Reconnect Meta.
The publish dialog says no compatible publishing destination is available.
Either Meta is not connected yet — use the "Open Social Publishing settings" link in the dialog — or the graphic is an older PNG output. Older PNG outputs can publish to Facebook Pages; regenerate the graphic as the current version before publishing it to Instagram.
The Social Publishing panel says Meta connections are not currently available.
Meta publishing is not enabled for this workspace right now. Contact your administrator; there is nothing to fix in your own settings.
A publish shows Failed.
Open the publish in Marketing Materials, read the message shown on it, and use Retry when it is offered. If it keeps failing, check the destination is still authorized in Settings › Social Publishing.

Reconnect or remove

  • Reconnect: choose Reconnect Meta in Settings › Social Publishing and authorize again. Your existing destinations and publish history are kept.
  • Refresh destinations: use this when the connection is fine but the Facebook Pages or Instagram Professional lists are out of date.
  • Disconnect: choose Disconnect. Future social publishing is disabled until you reconnect; already-published posts stay on Facebook and Instagram.

Good to know

  • Only owners and admins manage the Meta connection. Owners, admins, and agents can publish a generated graphic to an already-connected destination.
  • Publishing is always an explicit action you take on one graphic and one destination. NextAccord does not schedule or post on its own.
  • Property Flyer PDFs are never publishable to social. Instagram needs a current JPEG graphic.
